• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and associates by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and driver entry per site requirements.
• Document incidents and patrol observations accurately and report to site leadership.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to security-related incidents and alarms. Your visible presence will help to deter incidents while you provide professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
