Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining authorized entry procedures; report concerns to leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations per site protocols and coordinate with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs of patrols and security activities.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.13 / Hour

1. Security Experience (C112)

   • Minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience is required. This includes experience in monitoring, patrolling, and ensuring the safety and security of personnel and property.

2. Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

   • Candidates must have experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

3. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

   • Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, entering data, and utilizing technology to perform job functions effectively.

4. Customer Service Experience (B219)

   • A background in customer service is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining authorized entry procedures, and report access-control concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
