Allied Universal in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Security Officer – Unarmed Facility Patrol to safeguard clients across financial institutions and more. Your visible presence and customer service will help deter incidents and maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, documenting events, and collaborating with site management to address security concerns at the financial institution.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the financial institution.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards encountered during patrols or while on post.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment at the financial institution.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
