Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for a patrol and access control role at a financial institution in Malvern, PA. You will perform security procedures, respond to incidents, and maintain access control with a customer-service focus.

The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday evening schedule. Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet and have access control experience; a high school diploma and background check are required.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control and badge processes, and provide professional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to use computer or tablet tools while communicating clearly and acting with integrity as part of an agile, reliable, innovative, and caring team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
