Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observations in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive environment through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding property to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
