Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Aid in Ashburn, VA. You will protect clients across various locations, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors while upholding our culture of integrity and teamwork.

The role offers a daytime schedule with steady shifts and relies on strong communication and teamwork to respond effectively to emergencies and incidents.

Formación

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members by following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, following reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and security concerns to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Aid in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly learning environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
