Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Marston, MO. You will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and deliver customer service at a technology, media, and telecom site.

Minimum: 1+ year security experience, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and background/drug screening per policy. Full-time role with varied shifts and a $17.00/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
