What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout public‑facing commercial property areas, building interiors, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to support an orderly environment.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
