As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response in Friendswood, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and incidents, and report observations through required channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and maintaining a professional presence at assigned areas throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
