Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Vehicle Patrol, Driver License Required) to serve customers, conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents at a retail location in Friendswood, TX. A valid driver’s license is required for driving duties and you can schedule shifts via the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:
