Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Coverage in Friendswood, TX. The role offers fixed hours and the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour with a part-time schedule. Responsibilities include customer service, site patrols, incident response, and reporting to ensure security and policy compliance at the designated site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter theft and unauthorized entry.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident, observation, and patrol reports per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Coverage in Friendswood, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
