Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Data Protection in Mesa, AZ to patrol a technology data center, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver outstanding customer service in a full-time, driving role needing a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or access-control issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; maintain professional communication with the Allied Universal team and site personnel.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a leading technology infrastructure location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and maintain professional communication with the Allied Universal team and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
