Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Incident Patrol Driver to protect clients across financial institutions and other sites. This role combines on-site patrols with responsible driving, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms and incidents, log activity, and coordinate with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background screening as part of employment.
• Background histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observed conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
