Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security provider, is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Operations Specialist in Irving, TX. You will monitor and patrolling the facility, deter incidents, and uphold a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service to clients and employees.

Responsibilities include responding calmly to alarms, documenting incidents, and coordinating with site personnel. Two years of security experience and a high school diploma are required; CPR and badge-system

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including public areas and perimeter.

• Complete incident logs and shift documentation accurately per site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including public areas, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in security-related roles is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
