Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Dallas, TX. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while following site procedures.

The role requires 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a commitment to safety. Hours include night shifts with a 10:00 PM–6:00 AM schedule and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience or more.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred and license/Guard Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeters and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per procedures and inform supervisors or responders.
• Prepare clear activity reports and patrol logs as required.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building perimeters, parking areas, entry points, and telecommunications infrastructure areas, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and communicating observations to supervisors and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
