Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Irving, TX to protect client sites across logistics and distribution facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, familiarity with access control, and a comfort level with computers. Schedule includes daytime shifts with multiple daily slots and potential growth

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage by maintaining a visible presence and reporting unusual activity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with the Allied Universal team. What You'll Do:
