Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer in Irving, TX. This full-time, unarmed role involves patrolling the facility, monitoring access points, and delivering professional customer service.

You’ll help deter incidents and support the Allied Universal team with clear communication. The position requires at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with the Allied Universal team. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner and report observations through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery vehicle activity in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage by maintaining a visible presence and reporting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
