As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Preparedness in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors. You will respond to concerns, report observations, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing visitors and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
