Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents and actions, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and reporting suspicious, unauthorized, or hazardous conditions.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
