Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members, support a welcoming environment, and document activity using computer or tablet tools. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, loading areas, parking locations, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, or potential hazards, documenting observations and completing required reports.


• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by providing directions, supporting crowd-management procedures, and communicating professionally with store personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
