Allied Universal, Hershey, PA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Associate to monitor a food and beverage production site, deliver excellent customer service, deter incidents, and support access control for employees and visitors.

You will perform daytime shifts, patrol production areas and perimeters, document incidents, and respond calmly to alarms per established procedures. Minimums: 18+, high school diploma, background check, and drug screening.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Associate in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Navigating software applications
  • Utilizing email and communication tools
  • Accessing and managing digital files
• Candidates may be required to complete a basic computer skills assessment during the interview process.

Customer Service Experience (B219)

• A minimum of [insert number] years of customer service experience is required. Candidates should be able to:

• Previous experience in a security or facilities management role is preferred.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, check credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs to document incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
