Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and requests for assistance to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior perimeters, parking areas, loading docks, and employee entrances to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, delivery traffic, and contractor arrivals in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
