Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Console in Charlotte, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen will be performed where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify management or responders.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Console in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to alarms, document observations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and tenant activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying management and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence at the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
