Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Route Inspection in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence at the location while communicating clearly with property representatives, tenants, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
