Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Records in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
