Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) for our Carrollton, TX location. You will patrol, monitor access points, and uphold site security while delivering excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

The role requires a minimum of one year in security, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a night shift schedule. Training and company perks accompany a robust benefits package.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Carrollton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control and badge processes, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established post orders and emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for security-related events and operational observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
