Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to join our Redwood City, CA team as a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver CPR. You will monitor campus facilities, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to students, staff, and visitors while following site procedures.

The position requires at least two years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR is preferred.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver CPR in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an educational campus, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide helpful customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus resources and emergency responders as appropriate.


• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.


• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
