As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Route Inspection in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
