As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Prevention in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders. Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations and required information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, irregularities, and security-related activities accurately and completely using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
