Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol position to safeguard clients across government locations and facilities. The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work day shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control practices at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Complete logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation and inform supervisors accordingly.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and public emergency services when required.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
