Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Albuquerque, NM to safeguard clients across government locations. You will perform routine patrols, manage access points, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding company and site procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of government facilities and perimeters to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and maintaining records.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and observations for site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining accurate activity documentation.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, observations, and interactions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
