Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Site Patrol in Albuquerque, NM to monitor government facilities, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will perform unarmed patrols, verify access, and respond to incidents with calm professionalism.

This full-time role includes a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule on multiple days, with CPR preferred, a high school diploma required, and background checks and drug screening as per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and security policies at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to established procedures; contact appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and report unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and observations.

Job Schedule:

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
