Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time, unarmed patrol role focuses on situational awareness, customer service, and safeguarding government facilities.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, monitoring access, incident reporting, and collaborating with a diverse team. CPR preferred; background check and drug screening required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and leaving the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and client representatives.
