Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Campus Patrol Route Driver in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail store and surrounding mall location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, stockroom areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and adjacent mall common areas as assigned.
• Help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting of concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
