Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in Commercial Point, OH. You will serve and safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other venues, performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and will involve day/evening shifts, with a schedule that includes multiple time blocks.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter, as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and monitoring of customer traffic to help support a positive retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
