You will prepare reports, maintain compliance, and work with a committed team focused on integrity and service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Prepare accurate patrol, incident, and inspection reports and documentation.

As a Security Officer Armed Security in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $24.86 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, incidents, inspections, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
