Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and report through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and exterior perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, driver, and contractor activity as directed.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs per Allied Universal and site requirements.

You will use strong communication and customer service skills while reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, driver, and contractor activity when required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
