Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Digital Screening in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener at a government location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and refer concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify identification, issue visitor credentials as directed, maintain accurate entry records, and communicate access requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
