• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter; report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.

As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, screen visitors and deliveries, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site access requirements and established screening protocols.
• Verify credentials, maintain accurate visitor and access records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
