As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at a dynamic office location. You will manage access control, greet visitors, support badge processes, monitor activity, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Serve as a front desk presence by greeting visitors, managing visitor access, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Communicate professionally with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
