Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Sat: 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front desk policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, receive and direct incoming calls, and communicate professionally with employees, guests, and appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Support a professional front desk presence at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
