Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security Operations in San Francisco, CA. You will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors and guests, managing access and monitoring security systems at a premier commercial real estate location.

This role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and accurate record keeping. A minimum of five years in security, a guard card or license, and background checks are preferred; CPR is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of security-related experience.
• Background investigation and drug screen required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures and supporting a welcoming visitor experience.
• Monitor access to the property by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and key or access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor lobby activity and communications systems, report unusual or suspicious activity, and support security-related emergency response activities.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least five years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
