Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Nashville, TN. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and property teams.

You will perform regular unarmed patrols, respond calmly to incidents, and document observations in clear reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Response in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence for the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
