Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Nashville, TN. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Position is full-time with opportunities for training, growth, and benefits. You must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass background and drug screenings where required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screening will be performed where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and guests by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter improper activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry/exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Tue 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Thur 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Fri 11:30 AM - 07:30 PM
• Sat 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or a baton is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
