Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Patrol Observation in Stafford, VA. You will safeguard clients across healthcare locations, deter security incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

You will use a computer or tablet to document activities and ensure a calm, professional presence on site. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring entrances, reporting incidents, and supporting site leadership with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic computer or tablet usage for reporting and monitoring.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles as applicable.

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Stafford, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use communication and customer service skills while documenting activity with computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
