Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Communications in Fredericksburg, VA. You will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare locations, monitor patrols, and provide exceptional customer service while reporting concerns.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer you’ll maintain a visible presence, deter security incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Join a team where integrity and teamwork come first.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, policy concerns, and maintenance-related observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, visitors, and responding public-service personnel.
