Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA to guard clients across healthcare facilities and other sites. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, assist patients and staff, and report observations using tablet tools.

The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where allowed, with licensing as required. Shifts include overnight coverage at $18.00 per hour.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service, and communicate observations using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
