Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Driver for a full-time role in Lima, OH. The position involves driving as part of un armed security duties, performing patrols of industrial locations, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

You will work a rotating schedule with early and late shifts, must hold a valid driver’s license, and complete background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related activities.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
