Allied Universal in Washington, DC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Experience to safeguard clients at government transportation locations. You will monitor, patrol, and provide exceptional customer service while reporting observations in line with site requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Experience in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and the public while reporting observations and responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of station areas, platforms, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support compliance with site rules and security-related procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
