Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Emergency Response in Kihei, HI. You will provide security and customer service to tenants and staff, conducting patrols and monitoring access to protect people and property.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, documenting incidents, and supporting a safe, welcoming environment at a commercial property. This role requires a valid security license where applicable and a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• License preferred for security-related work.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol/incidents reports for property management and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM
• Wed 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security‑related observations for property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
